Suitable from 6+ months and a family favourite
By making this takeaway favourite at home you can control exactly what goes into the sauce so it’s suitable for babies from 6+ months with BLW. I can also vouch that toddlers absolutely LOVE this recipe as well (thanks to my chief taste tester Maxie)

Serves a family of 4
Satay Chicken Noodles
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
2 carrots grated
125g spinach roughly chopped
1 small red onion
100g (two nests) of dried Pad Thai Noodles (can substitute with any noodles of choice)
Satay Sauce
400ml can coconut milk
3 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp lime juice
1 heaped tsp curry powder
*if baby is over the age of 1 you can add 1tsp brown sugar and 1tsp soy sauce
Method
Add all of the ingredients for the satay sauce into a saucepan and whisk together on a medium heat for a few minutes until everything is combined and has a medium - thick consistency
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan on a medium - high heat then add the chicken, and cook for around 5 minutes until it’s almost cooked through
Add the carrots and the onion to the chicken and cook for a further 5 minutes, stirring consistently until the vegetables are almost soft, then add the spinach and allow to wilt for a couple more minutes
In the meantime boil the noodles for 4-5 minutes until soft then drain the water
Pour in the satay sauce then add the noodles, give everything a good mix together
