Suitable from 6+ months with BLW and a family favourite.
Pastry and pizza…name me a more mouth watering combination! I love whipping these up as an easy dinner for the family, they’re literally done in 20 minutes flat. I used cheese slices but feel free to substitute for your cheese of choice, whatever you have in the fridge (if giving to baby make sure it's pasteurised cheese).
Makes 6 - 8 pizzas
Puff Pizza
Ingredients
1 sheet of ready made puff pastry
2 tbsp tomato purée
1 tsp mixed herbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
50ml water
6 - 8 cheese slices
Sliced cherry tomatoes
Method
Preheat oven to 200c
Use a shape cutter to make the pizza bases, the one I used made 6
Mix the tomato purée, herbs and garlic powder with the water into a smooth paste
Place the pizza bases onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper
Use a spoon to evenly coat the pizza bases
Use a slightly smaller shape cutter to cut out the cheese slices, then place on top of the pizza, followed by the tomatoes
Bake in the oven for 12 minutes
